When you create a new calendar on Outlook.com you get two very useful options.

Receive a daily email schedule for this calendar

I took this link and pinned this to Start on my Windows Phone and Windows 8 Start screens then also wrote it to an NFC tag for easy launching from a tap our Nokia Lumia 920's.
The next feature I found useful was Reminders. It sends you a daily digest email each morning with an outline of your day. Yes, I had many ways to access this same calendar. I now had access to my calendar from my family's Windows Phones and Windows 8 tablets, we had access on my dad's Android and my brothers iPhone, Web, NFC, Email... Clearly, we had our calendar available everywhere. In the end I think my favorite way to see my vacation plan for the day was in those daily reminder emails. It was nice to have the plain text list of things, but all the other views were more useful when I was stationary somewhere reviewing the days ahead or making adjustments.
Overall I think Outlook.com helped make my Disney vacation with my family a more organized vacation. We had a lot of people along with us and herding people through the park can be a nightmare, having a schedule that everyone could easily access made things pretty smooth. So Outlook.com, where to next?
